Not only is Attorney John Morgan “For the people,” but the staunch Democrat, always-charismatic and controversial politico is mainly all about himself, or is he?
Morgan has been toying with the notion of running for Governor of Florida, but as the new year creeps up on us, Morgan has decided that he will not run, suggesting that Senator Bill Nelson (D) run for governor, and not run for re-election to the U.S. Senate.
Sounding more like many disenfranchised GOP and Democratic voters, Morgan is saying that he will leave is Democratic Party and register as an Independent, or NPA.
Is John Morgan turning a new leaf?
Did Charlie Crist take over Morgan’s Twitter account?
And I can’t muster enthusiasm for any of today’s politicians. They are all the same. Both parties. I plan to register as an Independent and when I vote, vote for the lesser of two evils. And if I ever ran, run as an Independent. #ForThePeople

Could Morgan be in the middle of a reverse Charlie Crist chameleon-type move that will eventually lead him to raise the red elephant flag? Or is he just smoking too much of that green stuff he fought so hard to legalize?
