Republican Congressman David Jolly, who is also running for the U.S. Senate in Florida, crashed political chameleon Charlie Crist’s announcement that he is running for Congress for the seat Jolly current holds.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, this would be Crist’s ninth political campaign in 25 years.
“Public Service is in my heart. I can’t help it.”-Charlie Crist
If Crist wins this congressional race, he will be the new face of the Democratic Party, as even the most liberal faction within that political party has had their fill of Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Here is what Jolly said about Crist:
“I care too much about this district, the institution of Congress, and who represents us to lay down and let this huckster walk into office,” Jolly said. “He’s a fraud. …He will tell you anything that you want to hear for the sake of trying to get your support.”
Kudos for Jolly for actually putting himself out there like this. He is lucky Crist’s AFL-CIO thugs weren’t there to greet him like they greeted me back in 2010.
Jolly added this:
“I have served with a lot of bad members of Congress. Charlie would be the worst I’ve ever seen.”
I will assume that all of these “bad members of Congress” Jolly speaks of are from the Democratic Party.
